The rapidly growing waterjet manufacturer looks to the experience of a new marketing director to formulate a marketing plan for its business units in the areas of water, motion, and machinery.

IMS WaterJet, Inc. (Waterbury, CT) a high tech manufacturer of U.S.-made waterjet cutting systems, recently hired Kevin Dokla as its director of marketing, reporting to Mark Hayden, its president and chief executive officer.

Dokla brings nearly 15 years of professional experience in marketing communications, product marketing, corporate branding, product development, strategic planning, and sales education/training. He possesses solid skills in working directly with companies that face challenges in their marketing strategies, lead generation, product placement in the industry, or improving their brand imaging.

Prior to joining IMS WaterJet, Kevin held marketing leadership positions at Eemax, Inc., Pyramid Technologies, Tech Depot (an Office Depot Company), and Cendant Incorporated.

In his new position, Dokla will utilize advanced marketing tactics in digital and print media to develop and drive all facets of the company’s corporate branding and marketing, and in establishing and promoting various product segments. In addition, he will work on revamping the company’s website and extending its reach through public relations efforts and social media marketing.

“It is an exciting time here as we are refocusing and re-energizing our business to deliver even greater value to our customers,” stated Hayden. “Kevin steps into this key corporate role with the necessary experience and marketing savvy to effectively communicate our ideas and vision. He will help strengthen our corporate identity and formulate a marketing plan for our business units in the areas of water, motion, and machinery.”

Dokla currently resides in Seymour, CT. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Business Management with a Marketing focus.

Customized for the precise cut, IMS WaterJet manufactures waterjet cutting systems that are so exact, they are used beyond the metal cutting world to process a variety of materials including food, glass, stone, tile, rubber, composites, textiles, electronics, and more.

In addition to customized systems, the company offers a standardized off-the-shelf PRO Series line of extremely accurate and competitively priced high-end models, as well as a value-priced EL Series. For product details and a complete listing of industries served, visit www.imswaterjet.com.
