AUTOMATED LASER MARKING FOR AEROSPACE, MEDICAL, TOOLS, DEFENSE

The rotating and moving scan head marks long cylindrical parts, medical parts, drill bits, tools, gun receivers with engraving to 0.020 deep or high contrast black annealed marks with varying geometries and heights without moving the parts.

Haco Atlantic-Lasit, USA (Houston, TX) proudly introduces its newest generation CompactMark®, a rugged, industrial laser marking system with a wide range of features offering versatility and capability. The fully enclosed rigid welded steel Class One system (or optional Class IV with open door) is ideal for marking stainless steels, carbide, titanium, brass, silver, gold, steel, aluminum, plastics and many organic materials such as glass, paper, cardboard and textiles, and is fully air cooled, eliminating the need and cost for water chilling.

The XYZ control is optimized through the use of a smooth joystick. Together with the flexible preview features and the SmartFocus®, the system is designed for ease of use in positioning various single parts. System is available with XY Tables or Full Gantry and Moving Scan Head.

When cylindrical marks are required, this system provides the most flexibility in the industry. The CompactMark® can be equipped with an optional fully automatic W axis (rotary indexer) to minimize any downtime in changing over from the table to the rotary indexer.

The system can be customized with 5 axes and additional features including W Axis, Pick and Place, Palletized Shuttles, Conveyors, and Pneumatic Lifts as well as an expanded enclosure for increasing productivity of large trays of parts. (up to 2 meters). This system can also provide a rotating scan head which provides marking around multiple cylindrical parts at one time (allows operator to mark large trays of parts).

It also can be configured as a gantry in which the table is fixed and the head moves in xy and z. This function provides the ultimate flexibility in marking parts of varying heights, shapes with curved as well as flat surfaces all automatically with moving head.
