The SWCR arc welding reel from Hannay Reels (Westerlo, NY) is designed to handle single conductor electrode cable or grounding lead. Current passes through a 400 amp rated rotary electrical device for efficient use with any unwound cable length.
This model also features a heavy-duty spring motor that allows self-contained rewind. A non-sparking ratchet assembly locks the reel in place when the desired amount of cable has been payed out, while a de-clutching arbor is provided to prevent damage from reverse winding.
