GF Machining Solutions Names Distributor and Salesman of the Year

Tristate Machinery is the distributor of the year and Tim Zak is the salesman of the year.

Tim Zak, an employee of Tristate Machinery, was named salesman of the year by selling more products than anyone else in GF Machining Solutions’ 110-member sales network.

At its recent National Sales Conference in New Orleans, LA, GF Machining Solutions (Lincolnshire, IL) named Tristate Machinery, Inc. (Wheeling, IL) as its distributor of the year and Tim Zak, an employee of Tristate, as their salesman of the year.

GF Machining Solutions hosts this conference annually to honor the top performers in its North American distributor network as well as discuss the company’s latest developments in milling, EDM, laser and automation technology.

Tristate Machinery co-owner Tim Doran accepted the distributor of the year award on behalf of his company, which sells and supports all of the AgieCharmilles wire and die-sink machines, MIKRON milling solutions and 3D laser texturing equipment available through GF Machining Solutions.

Approximately 30 distributors sell GF Machining Solutions equipment throughout North America, with Tristate Machinery serving Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. Tristate Machinery received the distributor of the year honor for having the highest total sales volume for GF Machining Solutions products as well as the biggest improvement in MIKRON machine sales in 2013 over 2012.

GF Machining Solutions bestowed a second honor on Tristate Machinery by naming its employee Tim Zak as salesman of the year. Through hard work and dedication, Zak sold more products than anyone else in GF Machining Solutions’ 110-member sales network.
