CRC-Evans Becomes Distributor for LaValley Industries
This new partnership broadens the growth and reach of the services that CRC-Evans provides as it becomes a global distributor of LaValley pipe handling, road mat handling and weld positioning systems.
CRC-Evans Pipeline International, Inc. (Houston, TX) – an international leader in pipeline construction technologies and product development – has announced its distribution partnership with LaValley Industries (Bemidji, MN), best known as the manufacturer of the innovative DECKHAND® pipe handling product line.
As part of the partnership, CRC-Evans expands its already broad portfolio to become the exclusive global distributor of LaValley Industries’ DECKHAND systems to the pipeline industry. Manufactured in Bemidji, MN, the DECKHAND product line is comprised of a patented, modular design able to perform a number of crucial functions – including pipe handling, road mat handling and weld positioning.
DECKHAND’s solution can be universally applied across all excavator manufacturers, and dramatically improves safety and efficiency for project crews by mechanizing the basic, necessary task of pipe handling.
“At CRC-Evans, we continue to grow our product and service offerings for customers globally and have recently expanded our partnership with LaValley Industries,” said Brian Laing, the chief operating officer of CRC-Evans. “Our addition of the DECKHAND equipment line will allow us to increase our bundling opportunities and also offers our customers more convenience and value.”
“We believe the DECKHAND – matched with the parts, services and rental opportunities offered by CRC-Evans – is a win-win for the industry,” said Jason LaValley, the chief executive officer of LaValley Industries. “There’s simply no substitute for responsive, on-time service for today’s demanding pipeline projects and we couldn’t be more pleased to be partnered with a world-class organization such as CRC-Evans.”
CRC-Evans assumes the position as exclusive distributor of the DECKHAND product line, after an amicable end to the previous, five-year partnership between LaValley Industries and PipeLine Machinery International (PLM). Maintaining its long-standing partnership with the trusted global dealer, CRC-Evans will continue to source excavators from PLM, as well as various other innovative industry solution providers.
