Samuel Midwest and Samuel Automotive are honored to receive the first ever Supplier Performance Award from Precision Resource, Inc., a long standing customer and recognized leader in the development of fineblanking technology that operates more than 100 fineblanking presses and offers extensive secondary finishing capabilities at various international facilities that produce components for the automotive, heavy duty, tools and hardware, electronics, and medical industries.

Samuel Midwest and Samuel Automotive supply carbon steel and carbon strip steel to Precision Resource.

The Precision Resource Supplier Performance Award, newly established in 2014, is based on a supplier rating system ranking service center efficiency and productivity. Samuel came in as the #1 supplier across all categories.

Tom Sennett, the vice president and general manager of Samuel Midwest, stated, “We are very proud of everyone here who helped to make this happen. I know our customer service team pushed us over the top and jumped through hoops to make sure new Precision Resource projects were completed on-time, on budget.”

Frank Conciatori, the vice president of Samuel Automotive, added, “This award is a true reflection of our beliefs. We give 110 percent to our customers — ones that we’ve had for over a decade and ones that are brand new. We extend our thanks to Precision Resource for taking the time and effort to recognize our hard work and look forward to continuing our partnership with them.”

Managing director and chief executive officer Peter Wolcott and his Precision Resource team presented the award to Samuel management and employees in October 2014.
