Mazak Corporation (Florence, KY) distributor Concept Technical Sales Inc. (Overland, KS) has expanded its operations and moved into a new larger facility to further keep pace with the consistent increasing customer demand. The building provides room for the company’s applications and service technicians, as well as for future growth. It allows for demonstrations of machining systems, such as those geared toward the area’s aerospace manufacturers.
Marking its 25th year as an exclusive Mazak distributor, the distributor supplies machine tools, training and application support to manufacturers throughout Kansas and Western Missouri. Now located at 6319 W. 110th Street in Overland Park, the new home is also in close proximity to several leading aerospace manufacturers, as well as key suppliers to that and other area industries.
Local Kansas and Western Missouri manufacturers now gain even easier access to the keenly responsive experts at Concept Technical Sales. Plus, these manufacturers can experience the latest advanced manufacturing technologies, such as the new Vortex Horizontal Profiler (HP) 160, without spending huge amounts of time away from their businesses.
The Vortex HP 160 horizontal machining center is the newest result of Mazak’s continuous investment in the development of new machining systems specifically for aerospace applications. For those Concept Technical Sales customers in that industry, the machine, featuring a symmetrical-base-column integrated construction, delivers high-precision, high-speed 5-axis machining on a large vertically oriented worktable that is quickly loaded while in a horizontal position.
Concept Technical Sales’ new facility also includes 1,000 sq ft of warehouse space. And according to Paul Domurat, the president of Concept Technical Sales, strong sales growth has provided the company with the opportunity to reinvest in its future with the move and expansion. He attributed the company’s success to continued support from its customers and expects the company’s robust sales to hold steady well into the future.
