TRUMPF Expands in Mexico
The new facility offers same-day or early morning delivery of crucial parts to automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

In response to increased sales in Mexico, TRUMPF Inc. (Farmington, CT) has recently opened a facility in Querétaro to enhance its support for local customers. The location ensures faster response times for spare parts, sales support and service technicians. Being in closer proximity to customers enables the company to offer same-day or early morning delivery of crucial parts to customers, including automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Sofia Cardenas, facility supervisor of the new warehouse explains, “As an extension of TRUMPF Mexico in Apodaca, N.L., we are able to stock more than 1,000 different part numbers, including spare parts for TruLaser Cell multi-axis laser systems, TruMark marking lasers, and laser resonators.” The parts cover more than 90 percent of the install base in Mexico and will be continuously evaluated and optimized to best support the needs of customers. The new facility provides customer service in English and Spanish.
Michael Nuessler, the regional sales manager for TRUMPF lasers in Mexico explains, “We are committed to providing local support for customers in the growing Mexican market, including faster delivery of spare parts, as well as local and Spanish speaking support.”
The new location also serves as a local base for technical service engineers, reducing response time and increasing accessibility to tools and spare parts. With 1,000 sq m (10,763 sq ft) of space, The company also adds the capacity to host seminars and technical events in Queréetaro, keeping local prospective and existing customers up-to-date on laser technology and applications.
