New Staff at Hobart Institute of Welding
Calvin Scharrer joins as a career development representative.

Hobart Institute of Welding Technology (HIWT; Troy, OH) has added a career development representative to their staff. Calvin Scharrer comes to HIWT from Lincoln College of Technology where he served as a high school admissions representative.
“Calvin’s enthusiasm and ambition make him an ideal person to administer tours at HIWT and give presentations about HIWT at high schools and career centers,” said Brenda Scott, the director of compliance and student services. “His territory will include Ohio and states beyond that are located west of Interstate 75. He will also be assisting with career placement of graduating students.”

Calvin enjoys hunting, sports and being a DJ in his spare time. He has also been busy planning his upcoming wedding in May.
