Quick-Change Flap Discs

In Booth C-1625, KLINGSPOR Abrasives Inc. (Hickory, NC) will showcase their CMT Flap Disc, a quick-change flap disc that is an efficient, effective, and innovative version of KLINGSPOR’s industry-leading flap discs. This breakthrough for the metal grinding and finishing community offers less downtime and increased productivity when grinding weld seams and for surface finishing on metals of all types. The CMT fits any 4-1/2 in angle grinder and are available in four different versions: flat and 6 deg angled alumina zirconia, lubricated alumina zirconia, and non-woven abrasive. These options allow the user to fine tune their grinding and surface finishing applications.

Also on display will be newly formulated thin cutoff wheels from 0.8 mm to 1 mm. The A 960 TZ Special (1 mm) is unmatched in the high performance world of cutoff wheels. New formulas provide a smooth, vibration-free cut while yielding the longest service life in the industry. The Z 960 TZ Special (1 mm) is formulated with alumina zirconia grain to provide an aggressive cut on extremely hard metals such as stainless steels and other high alloys. The A 980 TZ Special (0.8 mm) has proven to be the market leader in cutting stainless steel sheets or other thin gauge metals. At 0.8 mm thickness, the A 980 TZ Special leaves a precise, burr-free cut. All three cutoff wheels are available in 4-1/2 in and 5 in diameters that are packaged in yellow KLINGSPOR containers to extend the life of the discs.
