Abtex Names New Systems Group Manager
Damian Clemens now oversees design and development of traditional brush/machine deburring solutions and robotic systems.

Abtex Corporation (Dresden, NY), a leading manufacturer of brush/machine deburring solutions for the manufacturing industry, has announced that Damian Clemens has been promoted to systems group manager. Clemens joined the company last year when his company, Nihmble Technologies, was acquired by Abtex. The acquisition significantly accelerated Abtex’s growth in the design and production of robotic systems for manufacturing, systems integration, and process control, and moved the company to the forefront of deburring systems solutions.
In his new role, Clemens will oversee the design and development of all systems group technologies, which include traditional brush/machine deburring solutions as well as robotic systems. Nearly all of Abtex’s deburring systems are customized for automotive, aeronautics, and medical-equipment manufacturers who demand enhanced productivity as well as superior quality.
