LVD Strippit, Inc. (Akron NY), announced it will expand its U.S. customer service operation with the addition of three regional support centers in strategic locations. A Midwest support center in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN, metropolitan area opened on March 1, 2016. Two additional support centers in Charlotte, NC, and Dallas, TX, to assist customers in the Southeast and Central/Southwest areas will open in the third quarter. Customers in the Northeast will be serviced through the company’s Akron headquarters. The centers will provide stronger local support to North American customers.

“By adding support centers in key regions across the country, our goal is to deliver better overall customer support and more personalized attention at the local level,” said Mathieu Vanbraekel, the company’s customer service manager. “Having a regional sales and service presence puts us closer to our customer base and helps us more quickly deploy service technicians where and when they are needed for the fastest, most efficient service response possible.”

Each new support center will offer comprehensive service support, including spare parts, upgrades and retrofits. The centers will also house a range of their sheet metal fabrication equipment for training and demonstration purposes. Service manager Michael Eisenhuth will oversee all operations at the new Midwest facility, which is also the site of design and engineering functions for the company’s tube laser cutting business.

“Our support centers will act as complete service and support hubs and will be staffed with factory-trained service techs offering phone and on-site service support,” added Vanbraekel. “Each support center will also include a machinery demonstration and training area, and will have the capacity to house more commonly used spare parts for immediate access. For our customers, this means strong local support for all their service and support needs.”

The LVD Group is a leading manufacturer of a comprehensive range of sheet metalworking machines and software solutions.
