Angle Magnets Hold Stock Using Both Inside and Outside Edges

Inside/Outside Angle Magnets from Strong Hand Tools hold and position sheet metal, round pipes, square, angled or flat stock from the outside, leaving clearance for inside welds, or hold from the inside for outside welds.

Booth W-2088: For optimal setup of each unique substructure, a shop can use either the inside or outside surfaces of Inside/Outside Angle Magnets from Strong Hand Tools to hold and position sheet metal, round pipes, square, angled or flat stock from the outside, leaving clearance for inside welds, or hold from the inside for outside welds.
Booth W-2088: The Grasshopper Clamp from Strong Hand Tools safely and efficiently steadies small parts such as bolts, nuts, tabs, and thin metal plates for tack welding at odd angles with full welding clearance. Its brass tips rest against the smallest, thinnest metal or stainless steel parts. Adjust the clamp by sliding the upper arm or leg base against the weighted body for proper stability and balance in each unique tack welding setup.

In Booth W-2088, Strong Hand Tools® (Santa Fe Springs, CA), a manufacturer of innovative Welding Clamps, Magnets, Pliers and BuildPro® Welding Tables, will display their Inside/Outside Angle Magnets. For the optimal setup of each unique substructure, a shop can use either the inside or outside surfaces of the magnets. Hold and position sheet metal, round pipes, square, angled or flat stock from the outside, leaving clearance for inside welds, or hold from the inside for outside welds.

Two independent magnets inside plus double plates provide maximum pull force. The Inside/Outside Angle Magnets are fully enclosed for easier cleaning. The narrow profile makes them ideal for use in tight spots. MLA Series Adjustable Inside/Outside Angle Magnets can be adjusted from 30 deg to 270 deg by simply using an Allen wrench to set and lock the angle. Use the mounting hole to link two or more magnets together as fixturing elements. Insert a wrench into the hex hole on the magnets to provide a convenient breakaway force for easy removal from the finished workpiece.

Also on display will be the new Grasshopper Clamp for safe, efficient positioning of small parts for tack welding. Welders frequently resort to holding small parts in tight or narrow areas with their fingers. The Grasshopper, frequently referred to as a “Welding Finger,” performs this function safely and efficiently by steadying small parts such as bolts, nuts, tabs, and thin metal plates for tack welding at odd angles with full welding clearance. The brass tips of the Grasshopper rest against even the smallest, thinnest metal or stainless steel parts. Adjust the clamp by sliding the upper arm or leg base against the weighted body to provide the proper stability and balance in each unique tack welding setup. The PRO Model Grasshopper (Part No. AGH130P) includes three brass tips, a grounding ribbon, and a Spring Clip attachment for holding small rods or steadying thin metal plates.
