The RMI Laser Marker from Electron Beam Engineering, can create detailed and accurate lines, numbers, logos, or any desired mark on products or parts for easy tracking and traceability.
They now offer laser marking for etching and engraving into metals and ceramics with the RMI Laser Marker.

Metal Treaters Installs Atmosphere Furnace

The Atlas furnace features a 36 in x 48 in x 38 in (915 mm x 1,220 mm x 965 mm) load size with a 3,500 lb (1,600 kg) load capacity. It also operates at temperatures of 1,450 deg F to 1,800 deg F (788 deg C to 985 deg C) and has a quench oil capacity of 3,500 gal (13,250 L).
With the flexible Atlas system, they can now do carburizing, neutral hardening and carbonitriding.

SAF Installs Aluminum Coil Processing Line

SAF's new CTL processing line can handle 0.024 in - 0.125 in thick aluminum coils up to 60 in wide, ID 18 in - 22 in and 100 feet-per-minute.
This line can meet surface critical requirements for painted and anodized aluminum coil processing.

According to a study conducted by Ducker Worldwide, AHSS continues its growth trajectory with approximately 254 pounds per vehicle in 2014, surpassing estimates in 2010 for 2014 by over 20 pounds per vehicle.
In automotive applications, AHSS now makes up approximately 254 lb per vehicle.
