Vari-Form Honored by Chrysler

Vari-Form was honored as a finalist during the Chrysler and Fiat fourth annual Strategy Meeting and Supplier Awards Ceremony at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Scott Kunselman (2nd from left), the head of purchasing and supplier quality for Chrysler, and Scott Garberding (far right), the head of group purchasing for Fiat, presented the award to Vari-Form executives Doug Viohl, Randy Nicholls, and Jim Maraz.
The hydroforming supplier of structural automotive components was recognized for high delivery and quality scores, and high evaluations in cost, warranty and partnership.

Behringer Appoints New Southern Sales Manager

Matt Medeiros is the new southern regional sales manager for Behringer bandsaw equipment.
Matt Medeiros is now responsible for sales of bandsaw systems in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida.

EOS Marks 25 Years

The new energy-efficient 17,000 m² Technology and Customer Center in Krailling can accommodate an additional 300 employees.
The company celebrates this accomplishment by moving into a new technology and customer center at its headquarters in Krailling, Germany.

LTI Celebrates 30th Anniversary

LTI has grown into a 91,500 sq ft facility with 145 employees that perform nondestructive testing, including chemical analysis, mechanical testing, metallography, failure analysis, specimen machining, dimensional inspection and calibration services.
Since 1984 the company has grown through a series of expansions and changes as it developed a wide variety of nondestructive testing, dimensional inspection and calibration services throughout the years.

Vallourec Wins Order for Chinese Nuclear Power Plant Tubes

The fabricator will supply 1 mm thick nickel-alloy tubes for nuclear reactors Fuqing 5 and 6 to obtain its qualification for the new ACP1000 Chinese reactor design.
