Renold Gears Appoints New Sales Manager

As gearing sales manager he is responsible for providing customer support in the U.S. and South America for the company’s entire range of industrial gear products and services to OEMs, distributors and end users.
Renold Gears (Westfield, NY) has continued to expand its sales team with the appointment of Jeff Powell to the position of gearing sales manager. He is responsible for providing customer support in the U.S. and South America for their entire range of industrial gear products and services to OEMs, distributors and end users.
Powell has worked in gear manufacturing since 2002 and has extensive experience of machining, fitting and assembly of industrial and precision gear drives. He joined the company in 2011 as a regional sales manager with responsibility for all of their Torque Transmission group products that include a wide range of couplings and gears. This new appointment will enable him to dedicate all of his time providing support to customers.
Powell enjoys spending quality time with his wife, two young daughters and the family’s English bulldog. His hobbies include travelling, American football, golfing and fishing. “His appointment reflects our commitment to customers in the Americas and meets the growing demand for products and services across a wide range of industry sectors,” stated Roger Godson, the commercial director of Renold Gears.
