Booth D-45161: For light-duty applications requiring high precision, cleanliness, and efficiency, the 4,000 lbf (2 ton) EVOx servo-electric press from Beckwood Press has three modes of operation, can reach positional accuracy to within ±0.0005 in and gather instant feedback for diagnostics and maintenance using a data acquisition system that records key performance metrics at a rate of 1,000 samples per second.
Booth D-45161: For low-volume, high-mix part production, the Triform 610-20-3 deep draw sheet hydroforming press from Beckwood Press features a 6 in x 10 in forming area, 20,000 psi and a 3 in draw depth capacity. Its pressurized rubber diaphragm forms complex net-shaped parts over a single, un-mated tool while pressure and punch position are controlled to one percent of full scale and ±0.002 in, respectively.

In Booth D-45161, Beckwood Press Company (St. Louis, MO) will showcase their latest innovations in precision forming technology with two presses that show visitors how to increase precision within their forming process and improve productivity using IoT and integrated machine intelligence. The first machine, a 4,000 lbf (2 ton) EVOx servo-electric press, is ideal for light-duty applications requiring high precision, cleanliness, and efficiency. Visitors can learn about its three modes of operation, watch the press reach positional accuracy to within ±0.0005 in, and gather instant feedback for diagnostics and maintenance using the data acquisition system which records key performance metrics at a rate of 1,000 samples per second.

The second machine, a Triform model 610-20-3 deep draw sheet hydroforming press, features a 6 in x 10 in forming area, 20,000 psi and a 3 in draw depth capacity that is ideal for low-volume, high-mix part production. Its pressurized rubber diaphragm easily forms complex net-shaped parts over a single, un-mated tool while pressure and punch position are tightly controlled (to one percent of full scale and ±0.002 in, respectively). Using the proprietary “In-Sight” tool, it easily develops the perfect recipe for any deep drawn part. Both presses feature intuitive controls, recipe handling and data acquisition for strict part traceability, as well as a PressLink™ remote support module which connects Beckwood technicians with the press in the field to expedite troubleshooting, maintenance, program updates and training. The connectivity of these machines allows the IoT to be utilized for maximum up-time and predictability.
