Polifan Z SG Power Steelox flap discs from PFERD Inc. (Milwaukee, WI) have added a new 6-inch (Type 29) flap disc in 40 and 60 grit in 7/8 in arbor and 5/8-11 hub versions. With impressive service life and high aggressiveness, this flap disc maintains consistent performance throughout its entire life, yielding maximum economic efficiency for the user. This high performance, Zirconia alumina Z abrasive handles demanding grinding work, delivering optimum stock removal on high-powered angle grinders even at higher contact pressures. Polifan Z SG Power Steelox flap discs are specified for use on steel and stainless steel (inox) and excel in work on weld seams, chamfering, blending, and deburring with reduced vibration, noise and dust levels. They provide long, fatigue-free and resource-saving work with excellent results in the shortest possible time and are available in flat (Type 27) and conical (Type 29) shapes in various diameters, from 4- to 7-inch with either a 5/8-11 threaded hub or a 7/8-inch plain arbor hole.
