Walter’s MC232 Perform solid carbide milling cutter features a corner radius and reduced neck.

Solid carbide milling cutters with corner radii facilitate approaches to component geometries and extend tool life by increasing edge stability. In addition to a corner radius, the latest addition to Walter USA’s (Waukesha, WI) cost-effective Perform product line has a reduced neck that enables the MC232 milling cutter to be used with an even wider variety of cutting depths.

With diameters ranging from 1/8 in to ¾ in (2 mm to 20 mm), MC232 Perform cutters can be used for all typical milling applications (shoulder, slotting, pocket milling, helical plunging and ramping) on steel, stainless and cast iron.

Particularly cost-effective for small and medium batch sizes, the MC232 is an economical milling cutter for job shops and manufacturers that frequently change orders and/or quantities.
