Tormach Inc.’s (Waunakee, WI) newest CNC mill, the 1100MX, is a servo-driven version of the company’s two best-selling mills: the 1100M and 770M. Servos for the X, Y, and Z axes provide speeds of 10,000 rpm and feed rates up to three times faster than the M series machines.
The MX’s BT-30 spindle has an encoder for rigid tapping. The machine can be combined with the upgraded PathPilot operator control console. Together, they cost-effective high-performance machining.

AMT and the Reshoring Initiative will use the survey results to identify which processes, products and components face the most pressure from imports and which offer the biggest opportunities to reshore.
