All-in-One Benchtop Marker With Integrated Control Unit

The control unit for the all-in-one Markator FlyMarker mini-Station dot peen marking system from Rocklin Manufacturing is integrated in the housing. Electromagnetic-driven marking pin eliminates need for compressed air supply.

Thanks to the lever movement of the release handle on Markator’s FlyMarker mini-Station, distributed by Rocklin Manufacturing, workpieces are quickly exchanged without having to adjust marking pin distance each time.
Use the Markator’s FlyMarker mini-Station’s integrated laser pointer to eliminate errors by simulating the dot peen marking process before implementing it. System’s memory holds hundreds of marking files, fonts, and logos.

Rocklin Manufacturing (Sioux City, IA), the North American distributor of products made by German manufacturer Markator, introduces the all-in-one FlyMarker mini-Station tabletop dot peen marking system. Set the machine on a work surface and connect it to a 120-volt power supply to start work in a marking window of 120 mm by 100 mm.

Adjustable force settings deliver permanent marks on materials including hardened steel (up to 63 HRC). The stronger force settings are designed to withstand surface treatments such as galvanizing and sandblasting.

The unit automatically adjusts to round or uneven surfaces by a 5-mm height differential. A wide variety of part heights can be accommodated through its “rocker arm” handle.

Touchscreen enables programming directly on the unit. Character heights range from 1 mm to 100 mm. Files can be transferred via USB, ethernet, or programmed and stored on the machine. Auto-numbering, time/date stamps, letters, numbers, and characters are standard; logos and data matrix codes available as options.

An integrated laser pointer coupled with a preview screen delivers a clear simulation of the proposed mark to eliminate errors.
