Updated Machine Allows Lights-Out Deburring and Chamfering
Helios Gear Products adds CNC capability to Tecnomacchine (TM) deburring and chamfering machines to improve repeatability, programmability, and ease of use. The TM 1000-CNC’s 8 axes and two spindles handle parts up to 40 inches (1 meter) in diameter.

Deburr and chamfer gears up to 40 inches (1 meter) in diameter unattended with the TM 1000-CNC from Helios Gear Products LLC (South Elgin, IL). The Tecnomacchine (TM) series is now offered with full CNC to reduce manual deburring time and expense, increase repeatability, and lower the barrier to entry for new operators and setup personnel.
The machine deburrs/chamfers parts up to 39.37 inches (1,000 mm) in diameter with a maximum face width of 39.37 inches (1,000 mm). An optical sensor locates each workpiece before the fully enclosed machine uses 8 CNC axes for programmable positioning (axial, radial, tangential, and inclination) of two tool spindles (top and bottom operations) with speeds up to 30,000 rpm. After a short setup and one-time CNC programming, the machine deburrs top and bottom unattended with reliable quality.
Optional pre-deburring station removes rough burrs before final deburring.
