Company Improves Line of Tube Processing Machines

Transfluid’s K series machines are robust and easier to operate, thanks to control changes that require minimal operator input and different options for sharing bending data. Reliability and durability are the priority.

Transfluid Maschinenbau GmbH (Schmallenberg, Germany) updates its K series of tube-processing machines to be controlled with a touch panel. This opens up such possibilities as displaying the comparison of target and actual values for all axes. Controlling length tolerance and rotation requires minimal operator involvement. Product bending data can be loaded from a PC via a USB port.

Setups are available to process thin- and thick-wall tubes ranging from 1,500 mm to 6,000 mm long with diameters ranging from 6 mm to 42 mm. Machines with a mandrel can bend up to 180 degrees to achieve radii of 1.5 or 2 times tube diameter.

The machines can be equipped with programmable controlled mandrel withdrawal, mandrel lubrication device, and wiper dies. Other equipment, such as  an integrated saw, burring device, and tools for cutting-ring preassembly and flaring, are also available.

The DB 2076K processes tubes from 6 mm to 76 mm in diameter and all standard wall thicknesses and materials. The machine’s hydraulic follower pressure die produces radii of 1.5 x D (tube diameter) for applications such as railings, tubing for installations, and systems for exhaust gasses.

The DB20101 with mandrel is an all-round machine for pipeline manufacturing. All materials can be processed and small radii can be achieved.

The DK 642K with mandrel’s area of application is hydraulics.
