Unist’s MQL System for saws boosts performance and eliminates mess caused by coolants.
Unist’s Saw Blade Lube System™ easily installs on circular or band saws and delivers all the benefits of Minimum Quantity Lubrication. In contrast to flood coolant systems, which flood the cut with gallons of coolant, The Saw Blade Lube System applies a very small amount of MQL lubricant directly into the interface between the cutting tool and the work piece. This approach promotes fluid savings (MQL uses only a few ounces per eight-hour shift) and delivers benefits such as longer lasting blades, improved cut quality, dry chips with higher recycling value, and the elimination of fluid mess and cleanup chores caused by flood coolant. The Saw Blade Lube System features pneumatically operated, positive-displacement pumps, which are actuated by an air pilot valve, manual air valve, or electrically by solenoid valve. The Saw Blade Lube system supports up to three individual outputs with pumps available to dispense between .03 mL and .10 mL per stroke, and features a lifetime pump warranty when used exclusively with Unist’s Coolube® MQL lubricant.
