HGG Profiling Equipment Dedicates Houston Service and Support Center at Open House

On April 7^th HGG Profiling Equipment formally dedicated its new 6,500 square-foot center in Houston, Texas, to better service and support the company’s growing list of customers and profile-cutting machine installations in North and South America. Along with providing service and support, HGG’s new center is a centralized hub to rapidly deploy technical field service and engineering support.

HGG’s new center employs a customer service manager, administrative and inside sales personnel, telephone service support engineers, field service engineers and technicians, and a warehouse and shipping clerk. Along with maintaining an onsite staff with service and support capabilities, HGG is using the new facility to warehouse spare machine parts and plasma consumables for quick customer turnaround. HGG is also using the center as a training center for customers and HGG personnel. Demo machinery highlights HGG’s most recent profile-cutting technology while incorporating HGG’s latest software. Some light machine assembly is planned for the center over time.

For the Open House, HGG demonstrated its ProCutter 900RB, specially designed to handle and then cut complex profiles from tube and pipe up to 36 inches in diameter and 42 feet long. The HGG PC 900RB integrates a totally automated material handling system with infeed conveyor, three-jaw chuck cutting head, and 2-point fume extraction system. It is available with oxy-fuel, plasma, marking and CAM interfaces. ProCutter 900RB reduces grinding, fitting, and welding time; as well as related costs after pipe profiles are cut.
