The video above provides a detailed overview of the features and benefits of VAC-U-MAX’s Model 1050 Continuous-Duty Industrial Vacuum Cleaner. The system is designed for high volume vacuum recovery of high-density materials such as steel shot, grit, cement, foundry sand, and similar materials. The Model 1050 vacuums up to 10,000 lbs (4,500 kg) per hour of materials such as Portland cement from distances up to 30 feet (9m) away. High volume recovery can be done at local pick-up point areas such as debris under conveyor belts or in bucket elevator pits, as well as a “breakaway” central system for long-distance cleaning via piping networks for applications including cleaning mezzanines and hard-to-reach areas.

Technical Data

The PTFE high-efficiency filter is rated at 99.9% efficiency @ 1 micron with 50 square feet of surface area. The unique vacuum vent valve simultaneously vents the vacuum producer to atmosphere and provides 100% blowback air for maximum filter cleaning effectiveness. The filter is cleaned without shutting off the vacuum. A HEPA secondary filter cartridge is rated 99.97% @ 0.3 micron and is located ahead of the pump. Unit features a flexible electrical cord, 3 conductor, (without plug) x 25’ lg. An interchangeable 40-gallon collection container (holding capacity 450lbs.) collects debris, with 4” diameter wheels and large 14” diameter front wheels allowing easy movement over uneven surfaces and expansion joints.
