Hobart Brothers Company (Troy, OH) is excited to release its newest “It’s the tie that binds” brand campaign video featuring the unique opportunity to collaborate with NASA on one of the most exciting space exploration projects, the James Webb Space Telescope.

The new telescope is the most powerful ever built and for the coming decade will be a principal observantory, allowing astronomers to see deep into space and gather information never before accessible.

Hobart and NASA worked closely together to develop a new innovative filler metal that was needed to bind the alloys of the telescope’s test fixture to make sure its trip into space is a success.

True to the other partnerships featured in the brand campaign, this collaboration reflects the tie that binds science and people with the creation of some of the most distinctive and instrumental things that impact the world in which we live — making our world a more secure, more dynamic and more exciting place.

“Hobart is proud to have the opportunity to partner with such distinctive organizations as NASA. This project truly reflects that intersection between imagination and science, and it will give us a glimpse into our universe beyond anything experienced before” says Rich Thompson, the vice president of marketing, Hobart. “It is our honor to have collaborated with NASA and help develop the right filler metal solution to meet their needs.”

Hear how NASA and Hobart worked closely together to meet the stringent requirements for the testing of the James Webb Telescope in the just released “It’s the tie that binds” video.
