The multi-function center is designed for manufacturing complex, multi-operation work pieces.

Today?s advancements, such as electric hybrids, hydrogen engines, new-generation diesel, and gas fuel injection system parts, can be manufactured with the utmost precision with Amada Wasino?s Mi8.
The multi-function center integrates a tool changer and auto loader, making it ideal for the die mold industry. Its ability to machine small production runs of carbon and copper electrodes unattended, with the integration of a simple robot, provides a necessary solution to meet the increasing manufacturing community?s labor demands.
The B-axis, with a 270-degree range of motion, delivers multi-axis functionality for increased flexibility. Other Mi8 features include five-face machining in a single set-up, fixed station tools for turning, 20-station tool changer for rotary tools, 8,000 rpm main turning spindle, and 20,000 rpm milling spindle.
