The compact module is the perfect connection to the machine table. The Schunk Unilock Quick-Change Pallet System set-up runs parallel to the primary processing times and outside of the machine, which dramatically cuts manufacturing down-time. This is a decisive factor when it comes to cost savings in the process chain.

Quick-change pallet systems can provide significant cost advantages particularly during small-batch production and working with a large number of different workpieces. This is why Schunk Unilock has been used with great success in numerous industries. These include applications in tool and die, assembly, automation, medical technology, the machining industry, automobile and airplane construction, as well as in many other industries. Centering in the NSA SF is achieved with precise reference by means of four variable short tapers, which can be adjusted to various pallet sizes. A forced flow of air ensures that the short tapers are cleaned during automated pallet change, thereby ensuring an absolutely flat work surface. Central locking is achieved by means of four clamping slides, which provide a form-fit, self-locking centering sleeve location that can be monitored.
