The PulsAir pneumatic press is ideal for supporting progressive stamping operations in industries like automotive, appliance and hardware by delivering higher speeds with a base design that dampens shock and vibration.

AIRAM® Press Co. Ltd. (Covington, OH), a leader in pneumatic press systems, offers the PulsAir pneumatic press developed especially to support progressive stamping operations for industries like automotive, appliance and hardware. Patented technology delivers higher speeds while the new base design promotes shock and vibration dampening.

Long length precision guiding provides manufacturers with the capability to run progressive dies while minimizing the effects caused by off-center loading – features that ensure part accuracy. Stroke length is adjustable in increments as small as .004 in. Since the press ram can dwell on the top or bottom of the stroke, manufacturers can match or exceed press speeds for a production line or stamping job to achieve greater productivity. Features include “inching” or “jog” control for the ram and Remote Ram speed adjustment.

The PulsAir’s small footprint makes installation easy. With few moving parts, maintenance is minimal and only a small amount of lubrication required. This press is available in gap and straightside models from 7 tons to 200 tons. AIRAM can custom design press applications with minimal engineering costs.

AIRAM leadership and technical staff offer 130 years of combined technical knowledge and in-depth application engineering expertise to help customers select the right production system. In addition to the press,  stamping solutions include the die, feeding equipment, part handling automation and other ancillary equipment. Stock presses, including special press sizes, the capability to economically custom engineer press models, a comprehensive spare parts inventory, rebuild and preventative maintenance programs provide key customer support services. www.airam.com
