The machine also offers full simultaneous 5-axis cutting to reduce throughput time for large parts of substantial complexity.

Like other INTEGREX verticals, the e-1060V/8 II headstock features a powerful 50 hp, 10,000 rpm milling spindle for full 5-axis heavy-duty machining on the B-axis with 150 deg (-30 deg to +120 deg) rotation for vertical, horizontal, and angular cutting. Also running at 50 hp, the machine’s turning spindle operates up to 500 rpm max.

This system delivers ultra-high accuracies on turned, angled, and sculptured part characteristics, inside and out, often without moving the workpiece after its initial clamping. Substantial savings can be achieved through the elimination of numerous setups and avoidance of tolerance stack-ups.
