G.W. Becker Hires Regional Sales Manager

The crane and hoist manufacturer aims to maintain and develop its Northeast Ohio territory.

G.W. Becker, Inc. (Hermitage, PA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Art Goforth for the position of regional sales manager. He brings over 35 years of experience in the crane and hoist industry. Art will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining and developing the Northeast Ohio Territory.

He started in the crane and hoist industry with Progressive Crane, Inc. in 1973, eventually becoming their general manager. He managed the group of three locations spread throughout the United States. Art was instrumental in maintaining continuity during the acquisition of Progressive Crane, Inc. by Mazzella Lifting Technologies in 2005. He is active in his local community as a member of the Avon Local School District Board of Education.
