The welding company hires a new sales director for North and South America that is charged with leading and growing all sales operations and organizations in these regions.

CRC-Evans Pipeline International, Inc. (CRC-Evans; Houston, TX) recently appointed Scott Funderburk to the position of sales director for North and South America. He is charged with leading all sales operations and organizations in these regions.

For over 16 years, Funderburk has displayed distinct expertise in the industry, having served in a variety of roles with Lincoln Electric. Since joining the company in 1996 as a welding design engineer, he has managed Professional Customer Training programs, acted as a technical sales representative for the Houston office and led the company’s application engineering team at Lincoln Electric’s Corporate Tech Center in Cleveland, OH.

Most recently, he served as the global business director for the pipeline segment, where he gained experience in building an organization’s global capabilities and customer relationships in the pipeline division. His years of dedication and focus on productivity improvements and developing critical global solutions solidify Funderburk as a key asset in joining the CRC-Evans team.

“We are more than confident that Scott will find success and help CRC-Evans to thrive in his new position,” said Roger Spee, the vice president of marketing and communications. “He has exhibited a terrific knowledge in various facets of this industry. Beyond his proficiency in the constantly advancing technologies and welding procedures, Scott maintains customer relations skills that will be exceptional on a global scale.”

Funderburk earned both BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University in 1995 and 1996, respectively. He received his professional engineer’s license in 2001. www.crc-evans.com
