To keep the manufacturing industry in pace, B-axis technology is a key to success in today’s competitive environment. Combine turning and milling front and back for a finished part on a next generation CNC lathe.

Ganesh Machinery, Inc. (Chatsworth, CA) debuts this functionality with the exciting new Cyclone-52 BY2 9-axis multitasking machine. It has 2 in bar capacity, 35-tool positions with 18 driven tools, 12 tools with B-axis capability and a powerful Mitsubishi M-730 CNC control.

There is a separate Y-axis for both the main and the sub spindle to ensure that a tool with the right capability is available when needed. The main and sub spindle both feature an independent full C-axis with 0.001 deg increments for 360,000 radial positions for full engraving and contour machining capability. The Cyclone-52 BY2 will demonstrate the complex work that can be machined with programmable B-axis functionality.

The Cyclone-52 TTMY does complex work that is up to 11-axis, 2¾ in bar capability and three 16-station turrets for 48 live-tool positions. The TTMY series provides ample tooling for complex work and the ability to have an entire family of parts tooled up on the machine for fast job changeover.

The 7-axis Cyclone CS-32 machine with 27 tools and 11 live tools also has unique capabilities to offer for 1-3/8 in bar work. www.ganeshmachinery.com
