The system utilizes an auto focus non-contact capacitive cutting head with fast lens change and SMART AUTO FOCUSING that eliminates the complicated procedure involved in the setup process for different materials and thicknesses for increased fast production. The head and lens are rated 290 psi (20 bar) for all focal lengths. The front end software system is equipped with sophisticated control and has three gas lines for air, nitrogen (maximum 20 bar/290 psi) and oxygen with automatic flow rate and pressure control. Machining capabilities allow for cutting mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum and other exotic metals such as brass and copper.

The base of this rugged industrial cutting system is constructed using sturdy stress relieved steel fabrication with way surfaces ground for the mounting of the high precision rack guides. The gantry structure is designed from aluminum and is extremely rigid, yet light weight to achieve and maintain very high acceleration. The basic actual working area is 3080 mm in the X-axis direction and 1540 mm in the Y-axis with custom sizes out to 20 ft. The pallet is 3100 x 1550 and handles up to 2000 lb, allowing for the position of the clamps to be positioned outside the working area. Customization for specific working areas can be done according to specific needs.

The fiber laser system provides great versatility and is also an excellent source for thin or exotic materials such as brass and copper. With low electrical absorption, and no need of laser gas operation costs are significantly reduced. The high reliability of the YLS fiber lasers allows the operation with virtually no maintenance of the laser source. The cutting tables are divided into several areas for both collecting the dross and optimizing the evacuation of the fumes.

The state of the art TURBO-Mag turbine with magnetic oil-free bearings used in the CO2 laser system are the best in the market, allowing for very long service intervals up to 40,000 hours The Kinematic resonator support allows thermal expansion in two directions for extraordinary beam pointing stability. The laser diode is the most highly advanced laser source in today’s technology. It includes an optical LED aid that effortlessly allows shifting the origin to any point of the sheet and provides secure information of the mechanical position of the laser shutter (close/open). www.haco.com, www.hacoatlantic.com
