Kennametal Adds PM Industrial Supply As New Distributor

The established Southern California distributor provides metalworking technical support for aerospace, automotive aftermarket, medical, defense, alternative energy, and space exploration applications.

Celebrating its 75th year as a leader in tooling, industrial technology, wear-resistant products and application engineering, Kennametal Inc. (LaTrobe, PA) is pleased to announce PM Industrial Supply Co., based in Chatsworth, CA, is its latest distributor partner. The company is stocking more than 300 Kennametal products as part of its extensive industrial supply inventory.

Founded by Mark Gerin in 1956, PM Industrial Supply has grown to its current size of 27 employees under the leadership of president Barry Gerin, Mark’s son. Barry’s sons Zack and Jason are the family’s third generation in the business.

“We provide technical support for metalworking and manufacturing companies throughout the Los Angeles and Southern California region, extending as far as the Mexican border,” Barry says. Major industries served include aerospace, automotive aftermarket, medical, defense, alternative energy, and space exploration.
