Monthly contests grow user base by giving away free welding gear.
Weld.com (Pittsburgh, PA) is growing its viewers by leaps and bounds with their recent addition of the Weekend Warriors Forum. One of the features launched along with the forum is the Monthly Welders Contest, whereby participants can compete for prizes like welding machines, helmets and accessories.
Currently, the forum is running a contest that challenges users to submit their best welding cart design. Whichever cart receives the most likes at the end of the summer (Labor Day) wins. You may be asking, “Okay, well what is the prize”?
Weld.com will be launching a new MIG welding video series in which the first episode they will be building this welding cart. Whenever the cart is complete, the Weld.com will be shipping the finished product to whoever submitted the design.
To enter the contest, visit the website’s forum, create a username, design your best welding cart, and then post your entry.
