The 4½ in Roughneck from Weiler Corporation (Cresco, PA) is designed specifically for use on 4½ in grinders.  Although 4½ in is the most popular size of small angle grinder, welders and fabricators using this tool have traditionally been limited to 4 in diameter stringer bead wheels for surface preparation, root-pass weld cleaning and inter-pass weld cleaning.

This full line of weld cleaning brushes is made in the U.S. and feature a unique dual-hex nut that simplifies periodic flipping of the wheels for maximum cutting action, long life, and safer use.

Weiler’s 4½ in brush is designed for the greatest cleaning action and longest product life on small angle grinders and features a high knot count and a short trim length. This design results in a 35 percent improvement in cleaning action, up to 20 percent less wire loss and a 50 percent longer brush life than a comparable 4 in stringer bead brush.

The 4½ in Roughneck is available in both carbon steel and Type 302 stainless steel wire with a variety of arbor hole options. info@weilerabrasives.com, www.weilerabrasives.com
