Hwacheon Names Managing Director
Robert Nedler is now in charge of sales, service and general operations covering North and South America.

Hwacheon Machinery America, Inc. (Lincolnshire, IL) has appointed Robert Nedler to the position of managing director in charge of sales, service and general operations covering North and South America, according to the company. Nedler was previously the vice president of sales and product manager of milling at the company. He has been with the Hwacheon since 2012.
Nedler replaces Michael Huggett, the former managing director, who has left the company. A dynamic and results-focused sales leader, he brings more than 30 years of experience in identifying and successfully capitalizing on market opportunities, which he earned at the STARRAG Group, DMG and Yamazen, and also while being co-owner of Tri-Star Automation, a machine tool dealership.

Hwacheon Machine Tools was founded in 1952. The fully vertically integrated builder is unusual in that it casts its own bases and columns, hand scrapes box ways, and provides a full suite of adaptive software for each of its machines, which include tool room and heavy-duty lathes, vertical and horizontal machining centers, and high-precision mould and die machines.
