Radwell Moves Headquarters

Their new state-of-the-art Willingboro operation will employ 1,000 people.

The new Willingboro distribution center will allow Radwell to merge multiple facilities into one and accommodate their growing needs in stocking and selling new and surplus industrial automation for plant floor and facilities maintenance (MRO) machinery, and providing extensive repairs for electronic and electrico-mechanical equipment products used in industrial manufacturing. 
The new 312,000 sq ft Willingboro distribution center. Radwell offers shops over 20 million SKUs, with 8 million SKUs in active stock. They average 2,000 orders per day and are growing rapidly. The Click&Pick automated warehouse system will allow them ample room to grow, with 560 picks per hour.

Radwell International, Inc. (Lumberton, NJ), a global leader in industrial supply surplus, new product and repair, is moving its world headquarters to 1 Millennium Drive in Willingboro, Burlington County, NJ, where they have purchased a 311,000 sq ft Medco facility that was previously owned by Express Scripts. All current New Jersey operations will be consolidated into this Willingboro facility, bringing back the sense of community and family atmosphere that Radwell continually strives for. The move to Willingboro has already begun and is expected to be complete by August 2016.

At full capacity, the company expects to employ 1,000 people at this new facility, which will house over 200 state-of-the-art electrical and electronic repair stations, a full CNC metalworking shop, a servo motor repair center, a calibration laboratory, as well as sales, accounting, management, and purchasing departments. With new changes brings new improvements, such as the “goods to man” approach that Radwell is adapting with a new robotic automated inventory management system and a robotic shipping and order processing center. In total, the automated conveyor system at the new facility will total two miles.

Radwell offers over 20 million SKUs, with 8 million SKUs in active stock. The new automated facility will allow them to merge multiple facilities into one while also accommodating their growing needs. With an average of 2,000 orders per day and growing rapidly, they are installing a new Click&Pick automated warehouse system from Swisslog AG (Buchs, Switzerland) that will allow them ample room to grow, with 560 picks per hour. The system will also be used to complete production requisitions for parts needed to complete repairs.

In terms of amenities at this new facility, Radwell will provide a free health and wellness center complete with a full free gym. Throughout the spacious building will be free arcade games, a pool table, ping pong, shuffle board and cornhole boards. The cafeteria will be the employee’s “home away from the Jersey Shore,” featuring picnic tables and benches, swinging hammocks, rocking chairs, AstroTurf, tropical fish, and some of the many arcade and recreational games. Most importantly, the new facility will include a full restaurant with healthy options and hot meals at very friendly prices.
