The Stud Thread Detector from IMI Norgren is the only sensor available that not only detects the presence or absence of a stud, but also senses whether the stud has threads or not.

Now sheet metal fabricators can avoid scrap and lost time caused by missing or unthreaded studs by using a new sensor from IMI Precision Engineering / Norgren Automation Solutions (Saline, MI). The IMI Norgren Stud Thread Detector is the only sensor available that not only detects the presence or absence of a stud, but also senses whether the stud has threads or not. The detector also offers a wider sensing area than other stud sensing technologies. Unique stainless-steel construction provides the durability that stamping and welded assembly operations demand.
