Creform Opens New Facility
The 35,000 sq ft operation is critical to their expanding automated guided vehicle business.

Creform Corporation (Greer, SC), a manufacturer of adaptive material handling systems such as workstations, flow racks, carts and AGVs, has broken ground on a new production and administration facility to meet the demands of an ever-expanding customer base. The new location in Georgetown, KY, puts them in close proximity to their many large customers in the region and provides a pivotal location between their Greer, SC, headquarters and their Novi, MI, Tech Center.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by many dignitaries, including Kentucky State Representative Tom McKee; Kentucky State Senator Damon Thayer; the mayor of Georgetown, Tom Prather; and the president of Creform, Atsuhiko Yazaki.
The building will be a 35,000 sq ft facility that will house engineering, manufacturing, sales, administration and a showroom for their many products that will also provide ample room for demos and customer trials. The new location is critical to the company’s expanding automated guided vehicle (AGV) business in this geographic area and will allow them to rapidly respond to customers. Their AGV business continues to realize great growth and potential.
It is anticipated that this location will eventually house approximately 25 associates in all phases of the operation. It is expected to be complete by year’s end. According to Keith Soderlund, the company vice president, “This new facility will not only strengthen our relationship with many of our large customers in the area, it is also a testament to our continued growth in markets that we serve.”
