PFERD Appoints Technical Sales Specialist

PFERD Inc. (Milwaukee, WI), a global manufacturer and distributor of abrasives, brushes and power tools for metal cutting and surface conditioning, has announced the appointment of Tim Lee to the position of a technical sales specialist for Steel Works. The announcement was made by Gene Huegin, the company president.
In this position, Lee will be responsible for working with customers on their cutting requirements, particularly large diameter cutoff wheels, which range from 10 in to 78 in diameter and are used primarily in foundries. He brings over 20 years of experience to the position and will report directly to Huegin.
“The large cutoff wheel market is important to us in the U.S. We have long held a leadership position in Europe with this type of product and Tim’s appointment will add emphasis to our efforts to assist customers here in the States,” stated Huegin. “He brings the kind of experience that our customers will find very valuable to their strategic planning.”
