Booth C-39033: The Mitsubishi Zoom eX-F Series 8 kW fiber laser from MC Machinery Systems decreases medium and thick-plate processing times by 44 percent, and cuts non-process times in half with simultaneous nozzle cleaning and changing, height sensor calibration and gas purge during pallet changes.

In Booth C-39033, MC Machinery Systems, Inc. (Wood Dale, IL), a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, will feature a new addition to the Mitsubishi Zoom Fiber Laser lineup: the eX-F Series 8 kW fiber laser that combines the top-notch construction of the popular eX Series CO2 lasers with the power and reliability of fiber. In testing, the eX-F demonstrated significant advantages over the conventional Mitsubishi LV-45CF-R CO2 laser in terms of performance and operating cost. Medium and thick-plate processing times are decreased by 44 percent, and non-process times are cut in half with simultaneous nozzle cleaning and changing, height sensor calibration and gas purge during pallet changes.

Now available with an 8kW resonator, the added advantages include 10 percent to 45 percent improved cutting speed, depending on the material; improved quality and thickness range cutting mild steel with nitrogen; faster piercing in thick plate stainless steel; and powerful controls with standard features such as automatic focusing, two-action processing, simple nesting and program editing.

Also on display will be the 135 ton BH Hybrid Press Brake with Videre that uses a newly developed Dual Drive System with improvements in productivity, high stop accuracy, and energy savings over conventional and other hybrid servo press brakes. This new technology allows high speed movement of the ram at 200 mm/s with stable repeat stop accuracy. It now offers the Videre option that adds an intuitive operator assistant feature to display vital information in front of the operator in an easily understandable and intuitive format. Other machines on display will include the RX-F series fiber laser, the BB 4013 electric press brake, the Elite XL-135-30 and Smart XL-135-30 hydraulic press break. There will also be demonstrations of the exclusive Remote 360 remote monitoring software.
