In Booth B31018, Bug-O Systems (Canonsburg, PA) will showcase their Automatic Height Control (AHC) for welding, a very popular feature that has been available on several of their systems, from the popular Modular Drive System (MDS) to their top-of-the-line Piper Plus Pipe Welding System. This AHC system utilizes arc sensing to automatically control the height of the welding torch from the workpiece to maintain proper arc length, thus providing proper and consistent weld quality. The functionality of Automatic Height Control has now been extended to include plasma cutting and plasma gouging through auto voltage control.
