Rockford Systems, LLC (Rockford, IL) launched a new and improved version of their popular website at www.rockfordsystems.com, which now offers clearer navigation and more powerful search tools for their more than 10,000 machine safeguarding products. The freshly reorganized site makes it easier for users to locate safeguarding systems that match their immediate needs based on machine type, and more efficient for them to bring their operations into OSHA, ANSI and NFPA 79 compliance.

“We are dedicated to keeping an open line of communication with our customers,” said Carrie Halle, the vice president of marketing at Rockford Systems. “In redesigning our site, we listened to and analyzed customer feedback before responding with a faster, more precise way to search out safeguarding solutions based on machinery type or product category using a highly logical, well-defined structure. For example, if a customer needs to safeguard a drill press but doesn’t know which safeguarding products are required to be OSHA/ANSI compliant, they can simply go to our Products page, click on Drill Press and a wide range of compliant solutions will be presented.”

Research conducted by the company suggests that more than half of the operating machinery in America’s manufacturing plants is not in compliance with nationally recognized safety standards, often lacking in the most basic of machine safeguarding protection. It also indicates that users may not be aware of requirements, or be under the false impression that all new machinery is shipped with necessary safeguarding, or that older machinery is “grandfathered in” and therefore immune to compliance regulations. By referencing a machine, rather than a part number, this new website educates users on precisely what is needed to protect their employees, machinery and compliance.
