TRUMPF Appoints New General Manager
Ralf Kimmel now leads their laser division business in North America, including management of sales, service, and application development.

TRUMPF Inc. (Farmington, CT) announced that Ralf Kimmel has been appointed the general manager of the TRUMPF Laser Technology Center in Plymouth Township, MI. He has been with the company since 2000, when he began his career as a project engineer for laser systems. As general manager for their laser division business in North America, his responsibilities include management of sales, service, and application development.
Kimmel has already moved into this new role at one of the company’s largest sales subsidiaries of the laser division. “I am excited to embark on this new opportunity,” he said. “I anticipate strong sales increases in additive manufacturing with laser technologies, applications in e-mobility, semicon industries and medical device applications, and I am humbled that I have been chosen to lead our exceptional team during this exciting time of growth.”
