Shaper Up for Socket Machining
The Shaper Duo system from NTK Cutting Tools cuts into the material with up sharp corners, creating less tool pressure than rotary broaching for hexagon sockets up to 12 mm, square up to 8 mm sockets, and 6-lobe socket machining for T6 up to T30.

In Booth W-431664, NTK Cutting Tools (Wixom, MI) will display their Shaper Duo system that cuts into the material with up sharp corners, creating less tool pressure than rotary broaching. Inserts are available for hexagon sockets up to 12 mm, square up to 8 mm sockets, and Hexalobular (6-lobe) socket machining for T6 up to T30. The stick duo sleeve holders install in the back spindle of Swiss machines. Sleeves offered in coolant through and a hyper design for insert overhang adjustment.
