Fast and Easy Sharpening of Turret Press Tooling, Progressive Dies and Small Die Sets

In Booth B-9757, DCM Tech, Inc. (Winona, MN) will display their PDG Rotary Surface Grinder for sharpening turret press tooling, progressive dies and small die sets. The PDG is easy to use:  Inset the tool, set the desired grind amount, and start the auto feed grinding cycle. The machine does the rest and frees the operator to perform other tasks. Its standard center-mounted rotary fixturing holds punches and dies up to 6 ¼ in diameter, with fixture enhancements available to sharpen dies up to 8 in. The punch fixturing allows sharpening of straight as well as shear angle punches with up to 10 deg pitch. The 5 hp vertical spindle motor has the power necessary to rapidly process parts. Its specially compounded CBN super abrasive grinding wheel is free cutting without the need for special dressing to sharpen hundreds of tools. This wheel is extremely fast and precise and will last 10X longer than the old standard wheels.
