JM Performance Products Inc. (JMPP; Fairport Harbor, OH) expands its line of retention knobs and other spindle maintenance products with coupling bolts for live tooling on Mazak lathes. The product meets all Mazak specifications and are manufactured to JMPP’s high-torque standard from 9310H alloy steel material.
The coupling bolts are characteristic of the company’s main product, retention knobs for V-flange tooling. While other machine tool builders require similar bolts for their lathes using live tooling, the Mazak style is JMPP’s first offering.
Because the bolts are imported by Mazak and generally have long lead times, providing a Made-in-the-USA option allows Mazak machine distributors to respond quickly and offer better pricing. JMPP stocks Mazak part 53488025001 as JM53488025001HTHS, and Mazak part 53488025101 as JM53488025101HTHS.
