Murata Machinery’s Motorum M2044TS turret punch press delivers high production speeds and high-precision processing with energy-efficient operation and reduced maintenance costs.

The high-speed Motorum M2044TS from Murata Machinery USA Inc. (Charlotte, NC) offers shorter production times, quieter operations, and greater turret capacity. The 22-ton spring-style punch press’ servo-electric punch drive system incorporates the latest ram drive design for simple and more rigid – and thus reliable – processing of 0.25-inch sheet metal at up to 4,921.3 inches/minute. Its large turret provides more stations for greater flexibility and increased productivity, and its smaller table is sized to accommodate limited floor space.

HMI Intelligent Control Interface increases production time by minimizing setup time. The company offers assistance for tool changes, turret load monitoring, scheduling and tool maintenance, as well as other features that maximize the machine’s greenlight time.
